My recipe was an amalgamation of a number of copycat recipes, but you should maybe try the strongest influence to see if there is a different result. Differences in ovens and measuring spoons can all have an unfortunate effect on baking. Hopefully another recipe will work!

We followed the recipe line-by-line and they turned into gigantic pancake-like cookies on the sheet. I’m not sure if there was an ingredient or step missing, but they were very disappointing.
