Vie been having troubles with the icing the last couple of times and after reading the above posts it’s related to the temperature and kind of cream cheese I was using. Making it again tomorrow!! Excited to see hoe it comes together 🙂

The cake took on a chewy dense texture and the pear topping got wonderfully jammy. Definitely worthy of a reprise for NYE 2013.
