The internet is a great source for all things foodie, and we’re constantly bookmarking, starring, and emailing intriguing recipes, food porn, and inspiration. Here’s a selection of clippings we think are worth checking out.

This crisp red and white breakfast of radishes, salt, and butter looks like a simply sophisticated way to bring a little patriotic colour to your Canada Day brekkie.

My dear friend, and brilliant chef Blake once said, “You can put a watermelon anywhere you can put a cucumber”. It unintentionally resulted a giggle or two. This salad is a perfect example of just how right he was. Kind of.

This looks like the perfect summer strawberry cake. The kind I might not be able to resist sneaking bites from until it’s gone.

And if you have some strawberries left over after making that cake, here’s a rather excellent way of turning them into a fresh berry infused vodka. Just add ice.

And lastly, we are honoured to have been included in SweetHome’s Top Ten Canadian Home-Grown Food Blogs. Merci.
